Hotel cancellation terms & conditions
- All changes must be submitted in writing to the Accommodation Secretariat (). Changes sent directly to the hotel will not be accepted.
- Until July 7, 2026, a 100% free cancellation applies. Any payments already made will be fully reimbursed.
- From July 8, 2026 until August 10, 2026 the booked accommodation may only be cancelled free of charge if DIS Congress Service is able to reallocate the cancelled room nights to another guest. If reallocation is not possible, the full accommodation amount remains payable according to the issued invoice, regardless of whether payment has already been made.
- From August 11, 2026, no reimbursement will be made in case of cancelled room nights. The full accommodation amount remains payable according to the issued invoice, also in cases where the invoice has not yet been paid.
- Cancellation does not release the participant from the obligation to pay any outstanding invoice amounts.
No-show
- No refund of any payment will be made, and the entire reservation will be charged by DIS Congress Service.
Insurance
Participants are responsible for arranging their own personal travel and health insurance, as such insurance is intended to cover risks that are not assumed by the Organizers or the Conference Secretariat. To the extent permitted by applicable law, neither the Organizers nor the Conference Secretariat shall be liable for any non‑refundable payments in the event of cancellation prior to arrival.
Cancellation or non‑attendance does not release the participant from the obligation to pay any outstanding amounts. Any amounts due remain payable in full in accordance with the issued invoice, regardless of whether payment has already been made.
Furthermore, to the extent permitted by applicable law, neither the Organizers nor the Conference Secretariat shall be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or damage to persons or property arising during or in connection with the conference. Participants are therefore strongly advised to ensure that their insurance provides adequate coverage for such circumstances.
Liability Waiver
The safety and well-being of our attendees is a priority for the conference. The conference is committed to providing a safe environment for the event and will take all reasonable measures to do so.
However, attendance at the event is voluntary and involves inherent risks associated with entry into, and presence at, the event venue(s), including, but not limited to, potential exposure to communicable diseases. By attending the event, attendees acknowledge and accept personal responsibility for their participation and for the risks and hazards reasonably associated with attendance.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, attendees agree that the Organizers and the Conference Secretariat shall not be liable for any loss, damage, illness, or injury arising from or in connection with attendance at the event.
